Elvis Song by Pam and Terry
Our friends Pam and Terry, Beale Street singing duo, wrote a song commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Elvis’s death. They’ll open for BJ Thomas Friday night at the Germantown Performing Arts Centre, and you can catch them Saturday (Aug. 18) from noon to 3 p.m. at King’s Palace Patio on Beale.
Here’s the tune: pam-and-terry-elvis.mp3

What a powerful song!!! 30 years have come and gone and I wonder myself where the time went. Everyone from Memphis who was old enough to remember has an Elvis story to tell. You just do it so much better than everybody else. Thanks for the memories and for a great song.

I tried to download rhapsody and there was an error so i can’t play the song.

Great Song. Love the personal touch.
This is Awsome!! I love the rythmn, the lyrics, and the memories of Pam. As Pam song I felt as if I was there with her feeling the goosebumps and the thrills. I never have been a great Elvis fan. I liked his music, but this song brought forth a true image and the mystique that surrounds “Elvis the Persona”. I could listen to this over and over and over.
What talent as a songwriter and singer Pam is!!!
Thanks for letting me enjoy for a few moments what it must have been like to walk even a few seconds with the King of Rock-n-roll!
This song should be heard by thousands upon ten thousand-don’t ya think?!
That song brings back some memories. I LOVE IT!
Great job Pam and Terry. It is a great song about the King. We all miss him.

Great new song Pam & Terry - love the story. Anyone has a chance to check out P&T on Beale St - go do it! They rock!! I’d go see them again if I didn’t live in England.
What a great song. We loved it. We have almost worn out your CD we bought when we were in Memphis. Cannot wait for the next one. Great preview of what is to come.
I am a big Elvis fan and loved every minute of it!! Through your memories and song I was allowed to be with the one true “King” himself & take part in a era I was not fortunate to be a part of. And I thank you for that experience.
Another great one. I remember the day like it was yesterday, we were all at the pool and someone came out and told everyone the news. The pool emptied for all to go home, praying the news was not so. It was “just like yesterday” Love ya, Barb
the song was very touching, the elvis that i remeber. Hope you the best.

heard the song guys! it’s great! brings back so many memories. everybody, from memphis old enough to remember, remembers where they were when they heard elvis had died. i was in the front seat of my mothers ‘66 impala driving to grandmas house when it was announced on fm100. we pulled over to the side of the road in disbelief and just listened to the dj read the ap wire report. we just sat there and cried.
wow! such memories…good job pam and terry….love you guys!
Hey Pam & Terry!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it. A beautiful tribute. We’ll be seeing you on Beale soon! Miss you guys!
First heard you at Mesquite Chophouse-still very much impressed!
Your song captured a time and place. Most of all, your lyrics tell the story of how Elvis bonded with all of us.
I have a picture of Elvis and Presilla when they were married how would i know if this is original and how much it would be worth? or where i can sell it at? Does anyone have any idea?
Thank You
