Elvis Song by Pam and Terry

Our friends Pam and Terry, Beale Street singing duo, wrote a song commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Elvis’s death. They’ll open for BJ Thomas Friday night at the Germantown Performing Arts Centre, and you can catch them Saturday (Aug. 18) from noon to 3 p.m. at King’s Palace Patio on Beale.

Here’s the tune: pam-and-terry-elvis.mp3

What a powerful song!!! 30 years have come and gone and I wonder myself where the time went. Everyone from Memphis who was old enough to remember has an Elvis story to tell. You just do it so much better than everybody else. Thanks for the memories and for a great song.

This is Awsome!! I love the rythmn, the lyrics, and the memories of Pam. As Pam song I felt as if I was there with her feeling the goosebumps and the thrills. I never have been a great Elvis fan. I liked his music, but this song brought forth a true image and the mystique that surrounds “Elvis the Persona”. I could listen to this over and over and over.
What talent as a songwriter and singer Pam is!!!
Thanks for letting me enjoy for a few moments what it must have been like to walk even a few seconds with the King of Rock-n-roll!
This song should be heard by thousands upon ten thousand-don’t ya think?!

I am a big Elvis fan and loved every minute of it!! Through your memories and song I was allowed to be with the one true “King” himself & take part in a era I was not fortunate to be a part of. And I thank you for that experience.

Another great one. I remember the day like it was yesterday, we were all at the pool and someone came out and told everyone the news. The pool emptied for all to go home, praying the news was not so. It was “just like yesterday” Love ya, Barb
